Criminal in the house

I am posting my question here since I need some serious answers. My boyfriend has a sister who does not get along that well with me-I would say hates me to the core-due to some pathetic reasons (insecurities and jealousy). I love my boyfriend so I tolerate her as much as can and am polite to her without being fake. She recently started dating this guy who looks completely shady and my boyfriend and I both instantly started distrusting him. One Day we were in the house (we live in his parents house since we are in the middle of moving) and the boyfriend suddenly disappeared. I went to check and saw him in my bathroom looking around. My suspicions reached a climax so I went and googled him and found the following in a court document website. DUIs, drug possession, criminal conspiracy, tons of burglaries, retail theft, and intentionally endangering another person’s life!!! He has accumulated bails worth more than $100,000!!!

I don’t know why now I am freaking scared to death and I want to tell her parents. But at the same time I know it’s not my business and don’t want to come off as an instigator. Honestly, even though I don’t like her at all I feel worried for her too. What should I do?

bump…anybody?

Tell your boyfriend.

Move out.

Print the info out, and then send it to the parents…anonymously. they’ll get the info, but not know where it came from.

They need to know what they’re allowing to come into their home.

If everything you said is true, then I definitely agree with mom2collegekids. Sending an anonymous note would be a sensible thing to do. Do not wait until something bad will happen.

what if this is a misunderstanding? that would be horrible

if it’s true, then i understand the need to tell her parents, but it’s still her choice who she wants to date. maybe she doesn’t know about her boyfriend, herself? i would tell your boyfriend, and then either you or he should talk to his sister first
