Criminology Grad Schools: Concentration in White-Collar Crime?

Dear CC,

At the moment I am applying to a fellowship at a university…and they want my top 6 choices for graduate school. At the moment, I really have no idea other than Maryland University - College Park. It has the best crim. program in the whole country. Better yet, it has two professors in my field!

Considering how small and specialized of a field white-collar crime is, are there any schools in the U.S. that have good criminology programs or professors that focus on this? Seems very difficult. School of Ecology at California at Irvine has Henry Pontell…but I don’t want to go that far for school.

Thanks for the help!!

Bump

Any suggestions??

Why don’t you ask someone in that field (e.g. the professors at Maryland and UC Irvine) for suggestions? Given that it is such a small field, your odds of finding an expert on a random internet forum are vanishingly small.

I figured that there would possibly be others interested in this field as well…guess not.

Thank you for the help though. I will probably come to do that.
