<p>Im just not getting the reading…I got a 450 on my sat twice…I need at least a 480…give me some tips</p>

<p>Well, first of all memorize vocabulary. Then, practice reading newspaper articles everyday and try to figure out the main idea, tone, purpose, and structure of the article as you read it.</p>
<p>Overall, it takes practice. So get started and memorize 10-20 vocabulary words a day and read for 20 to 40 mins a day and you should be golden.</p>
<p>In addition, after you take a practice test, you should go over the questions you missed and figure out why u missed them and how u can avoid missing them next time.</p>

<p>Read super-hard stuff, like college textbooks or something like jane austen…it will help, trust me.
i started out with 640 on cr, eventually raised it to a high 700…it seemed like an impossible feat at first, but trust me, it’s possible. btw i didn’t practice any vocab whatsoever
