<p>Ok probably not what you’re expecting here. This is about an essay topic, not about getting my essay read. </p>

<p>My idea is to write an essay talking about how my competitive experiences have taught me to take critique. Basically I used to get angry when criticized, and now I can use crit to get better. </p>

<p>Too generic of a topic or am I good to go?</p>

<p>Sounds good, but it really depends on how you write it and how meaningful it is. Even some of the best essays have generic topics, but they are written so compelling and uniquely.</p>
