<p>What does it mean when one course is “cross-listed” with another course?</p>
<p>“Multiple departments sometimes offer the same course; these courses are called cross-listed courses.”</p>
<p>Don’t be fooled though, they usually don’t offer the same level or rigor! For example theory of probability is a joke class and its cross listed with math theory of prob. (a good course) (probably because our math department is much stronger)</p>
