Crosslisted Courses

<p>So alot of classes are crosslisted under various departments. Does that mean if you want credit for that class you have to take it under the department of your major even if there are empty seats in the same crosslisted class under a different department? </p>

<p>For example: ECON 103 (PRISONRS DILEMMA/DISTR JUSTICE) is full, however it’s crosslisted counterpart PHIL 146 has open seats. </p>

<p>Would I have to take it under ECON 103 to get the class to count towards an Econ major? </p>

<p>I never had to do it, but I’m pretty sure that if you register for it in one dept you could ask to have it apply to the other crosslisted dept.</p>
