Crunch time

So according to a campus map that someone provided in an earlier post, it takes 20 minutes to get from Peterson Hall to Mandeville Center. I only have a 10-minute window. AWESOME.

Does anyone else have a similar problem? Or am I alone here?

Bike it…

Hahah yea i have alot of crunch time, everyday actually because my schedule wouldn’t work with any other time. I guess that means alot of working out time for my Chevrolegs :P

ashley, do you remember which post you found the map at? or do you know the link for the map?

CampusMap;

It could be shorter. The default time to walk on a mile on that map was 20 when I looked at it, which is kinda more of a meander than a walk.

thankssssssss

it does not take 20 minutes to get from peterson to mandeville. no way. going to peterson to mandeville is only a couple steps more than going from peterson to center hall. you can walk there with ample time, don’t worry.

Do profs get ****ed if you come in late? or do they even notice?

i have never had a professor that got mad at late students. the fact that ucsd has 18,000+ students and huge classes make it totally impractical for a teacher to get mad at each student that comes in late. let me just say that if a teacher got mad each time a student came late he/she would die of stress before the end of the quarter. now tas are another issue. with tas and discussions the crowd is much smaller (usually 10-30 students). usually tas do not want late students and will make it known. also, if you’re in engineering or in a major with small classes, you do not have the benefit of anonymity and thus have a good chance of getting a bad look or a word from your professor. it depends on the size of your class.
