CS major transfer to UCB

I’m studying in SMC now.
Since all 61 series, CS 70 and even EL ENG 42 are all not available to be found articulated courses here, I can’t take them before transfer````

Does it matter a lot??? My gpa is 4.0(probably 3.9 after fall), I learned machine learning, search engine building and some high-level algorithm. Built a robot(line follower) myself.

How is my chance?```

Kinda regret coming to SMC now even it is a good cc! Should of noticed that before coming```</p>

<p>61A, 61C, and 70 are hard to find. You can check assist.org to see if any nearby schools offer them. 61B is a bit easier to get, dunno about 42. Everyone’s in a similar situation, so it shouldn’t hurt you too much. Taking non-transferable CS courses is also a good idea (assuming you’ve got a safety school, you’ll probably need your school’s CS series anyways).</p>

<p>I’d say you’ve got a pretty good chance at getting in.</p>
