<p>Are there any benefits for a computer science major to pick up Statistics as a second major?</p>
<p>If you somehow ended up working in a field that required statistics knowledge it could be valuable. Finance being an example.</p>
<p>If you want to go into anything to do with machine learning it will be ridiculously useful. It would probably also be useful if you want to go into HCI, since HCI has a lot of psych.</p>
