Hi there! I recently registered an account with CSAC (WebGrants). When I viewed my Application Status, I noticed something really wrong.

Univ. of the Pacific isn’t the only school I applied to OR is it the school I’m attending (because I don’t know if I’m accepted/rejected yet). Why aren’t the seven other schools I applied to on this list? Is this normal?

Was UOP the only California university among the first three listed on your FAFSA? CSAC only lists the first three, and only list universities in California. The reason is that Cal Grant can only be used at qualifying California universities, so they ignore others. Don’t worry, this is just an estimate to let you know if you will qualify for a Cal Grant. You will go into Web Grants and change your school of attendance to the school you choose next April or early May.

Again, Cal Grants can only be used at qualifying California colleges and universities.

Another note - when you change your school of attendance, it can be to a school that does not currently appear on your Web Grants. The important things are that your FAFSA has been received, your GPA verification gets there by March 2nd, and at least one California college appears on your application status.
