<p>How hard would it be to transfer from Computer Science and Engineering to Electrical and Computer Engineering? I’m hoping that since they’re both very similar and both in Jacobs, the switch would be easy. Also, would I be able to change before school started?</p>
<p>It should be easy. ECE isn’t impacted. I don’t know if you could change before school started. You need to fill out forms and submit. However, even if you’re officially a CSE major, you can still take your ECE classes in the fall.</p>
<p>As far as I know, no changes can be made to your declared major until you enter school in the fall. Besides which, you would have to submit your SIR before they’d have you officially in the system, and those usually aren’t submitted until when, May?</p>
