okay, my situation is im in UCD as a computer science and engineering major. yea, pretty crazy. Im planning on going to get a MBA, wanna get into Haas, standford or Kelloggs but that is even harder. I was wondering which major will be better off in the long run in terms of business. Since most MBA grads are eng majors (cuz thats where the money is), would a eng major be better even tohugh its harder.

Engineering builds character, even if you choose not to use it to build things in this world.

“most” MBA grads are not engineering majors…

i say most because recently mba graduates have the highest makeup of the class.
i dont see myself sitting in front of a computer writing program. frankly i am in no way a scientist. i just need to know which program jumps out the most on your resume? which is better at uc davis?

I highly recommend AGAINST you choosing a major simply because it would look better on your resume.

Having that said, engineers are in much higher demand right now than business majors (which is close to ME). If you just want a good resume, I guess you should consider taking this route… but remember what I warned you

Major in what you like. Not everyone is a business/eng major that gets an MBA FYI. Ive heard of people getting art degrees into med schools. cmon…
