Hi- I am wondering if anyone knows if CSI insurance covers items students take with them for studying abroad. Yikes-- I am concerned about theft of IPAD, Computer and/or iPhone. Thanks so much!

From my DS’s CSI Policy boilerplate

Section 3 Territorial Limits

This policy covers anywhere in the world provided claim is made and any mediation or arbitration is brought within the United States.

No worries - study abroad is covered.

DS is a junior studying in Europe this semester. CSI is great - we bought the policy to cover the PC and electronics, but had a claim freshman year for over $1,000 in stolen designer clothes. Claim was handled promptly.

ChicagoBear: Thank you. So, when I register her, do I register her at her US school? The foreign program, although through her US school, is not listed in the International Schools. Thanks for the advice.

Yes, you would register her on CSI with her US school.

Thank you!
