My CSS financial aid profile asked for an assigned id, what is that? I sent in my applications a couple days ago to two schools and I did get an email with id numbers but they were used for something else to track admissions. So what am I supposed to put for ‘assigned id (if known)’?
It sounds like they’re asking for the student ID # that you would be assigned by a college once you enroll. If you’re not a matriculated student, you don’t have a student ID #, so just leave it blank.
