<p>So I sent my CSS Profile to all the schools that I applied. My parents filed my taxes early, so I was able to complete my FAFSA and send that to all my schools.</p>
<p>I also send my parents’ W-2 statements and my 1099 form to the schools that required it…</p>

<p>Do I just wait? Wait until the letter comes saying how much my family needs to pay each year?</p>
<p>Pretty much, yeah. Did you check each college’s financial aid webpages to make sure you got everything in they want? Sometimes there may be an additional form or two.</p>
<p>If that’s all done, then this is a good time to go hunting for outside scholarships, look especially at local ones since the odds are better there of getting them. They tend not to be huge amounts of money, but some are quite generous (!) and even the smaller ones really add up.</p>
