Hi! I was wondering if my grandparents who live in another country but receive more than half their support from my dad count as dependents? Or will they not be considered as “part of the household” because they don’t live in the same place as us? TIA

No, they don’t live with you.
Schools consider it a family choice to send money out of the country. That is money that could be paying for your college.
No…your parents can’t claim them as dependents. I believe dependents need to also be members of your household…your grandparents live someplace else.
