CSS Profile correction & FAFSA

I filled CSS Profile a couple of months ago, now I just started FAFSA. I have following questions:

  1. Assets allocation has changed since CSS Profile, do I have to request a correct to CSS Profile to match with FAFSA for the financial information?

  2. Can I request CSS Profile correct now? How long it will take for the entire correction procedure?

  3. The earliest date FAFSA can be sent is by late January per DOE’s website? How to handle it if the college’s financial aid deadline is before that.

You should list assets as of the day you complete each form. Assets will likely be different for each. No reason to do anything with Profile - you’re fine.

The date for the FAFSA will be the date you submitted it, not the date that the processor sends it to the school. If you complete & submit it by the deadline, you’ll be good.
