<p>I am going to apply for MS Applied Math next year. Options are UCSD, UCD, SJSU, SDSU.</p>
<p>I have discussed with my professors and they think programs in CSU would be more practical
in real world. Though they are also applied math in UC’s, they are more academic instead.</p>
<p>QUESTION:</p>
<p>I want to go for MFE in the Ivy after the MS. Assuming GPA and GRE is not a matter to me,
will I have a (much) smaller chance to get accepted if I am from a CSU?</p>
