CSUF - 4 Yr. Integrated BS-MS Degree in ComE

HI, anyone heard about this program before at csuf? I’m wondering that if this program is a better choice compared to UC’s comE program or cal poly/slo

I take it that this is Computer Engineering? Certainly UC and Cal Poly SLO have better reputations but you have to find out what the job placement rate is for this combined program. Having the M.S. is a plus for salary in general.

@xraymancs Yes, this is Computer Engineering. I have looked at their handbook: http://www.fullerton.edu/ecs/cpe/docs/2014_IntegratedBSMSCompEngnr.pdf</a>
but i couldn’t find much about the job placement rate :neutral_face.
They said that “Computer engineering majors may take advantage of opportunities provided by the Center for Internships and Community Engagement” but i doubt about it somehow

Call up the center and ask. In general a M.S. is going to give you a higher salary than a B.S. and if your B.S. is ABET accredited, then you are not losing much by going to CSUF rather than the other schools. Of course, many universities are developing these combined B.S. M.S. degrees now and you might find that they exist at one of the UC’s or at Cal Poly. That being said, you need to keep in mind all of the aspects of a college decision. Financial considerations being one of the most important.
