I was not expecting to be admitted but I am super happy about it!
Admitted with distinction means you are basically in. You just need to send your Official Transcripts and if you have an ADT, you need it verified.
@Late2theGame thank you, I worked hard! I did apply to CPP as well and apparently I got accepted to CSUF on Friday via email. I still can’t seem to check the portal though. Maybe I just don’t know how to navigate their site but I went to:
Academic Advising Students → TitanNet
and I keep running into this “We apologize, but the application is having some technical issues and is unable to complete your request. Please try again later or contact us at support@gradesfirst.com.” message.
Can someone tell me if I’m doing something wrong and I should be accessing it somewhere else?
EDIT: NVM I just figured out I need to go to the Student Center
I got admitted with distinction to CSUF
@mathcoral were you admitted today?
btw, what does the “distinction” mean exactly? I noticed it on mine too, but I tried searching for what it exactly does for me and I can’t seem to find anything on it.
@jinyung2:
**ADMISSION WITH DISTINCTION
“Admission with Distinction” is awarded to a freshman or transfer student who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in past academic work. For first-time freshmen with no previous college units earned, a grade point average of 3.50 on a four-point scale must be earned in the coursework considered for admission to the university. Students who have completed fewer than 60 transferable semester units of credit must meet the grade point average for first-time freshmen and must also have earned a 3.5 grade point average on all transferable college work attempted. Students who have completed 60 or more transferable semester units are eligible, if a grade point average of 3.5 is earned in all transferable college work completed.
@buster2974 Yes I got admitted today
Has anyone gotten an Award Notice email yet? Wanted to see financial aid information.
Let’s hope the rest of the decisions come out tomorrow, Thursday the 20th. The wait is killing me!
Nothing on my end today. Guess I have to keep waiting. :neutral:
Nothing for me either. ?
All of my friends of the s ame major (Mech Eng.) and same CC have already been accepted except for me, despite my GPA being higher than some of them. Does this ultimately mean the chances of being accepted diminishes by the day??? I don’t understand why my application is taking so long compared to everyone else ?
Why are school administrations so incompetent. I seriously wonder what kind of rocket science statistics and calculations they must have been doing in order to get these yes or no decisions out. Smh.
Does anyone now see a “Register for Orientation” button under the Accept/Decline Button under the application status? I just noticed it today. Hopefully, its a sign that decisions are coming
