Hmm April 1st is a Wed & ppl were admitted last Wed Mar 18th, not sure if anyone got admitted today or if this Thu/Fri will be this week’s release date
Kinda losing hope for csuf at this point. I mostly want to be back in OC so that’d be a lil lame but at least I have options rn
Rejected last night for accounting. This was my first choice as I live 15 mins from campus. I’m on the Deans list at Fullerton college but did most of my GE courses at Pasadena when my parents lived over there, so I guess that played into decision.
I checked this morning and saw I got rejected for Child Development. I live in Long Beach so I wasn’t too surprised. I got accepted into my first choice CSULB along with Cal Poly Pomona and Dominguez so it’s ok Good Luck to everyone
Wow, I’m not surprised they denied me, because they took forever to update my portal & did not email me, but they put a comment that stated the reason being that my GPA was below the requirement, which is absolutely not true. If it were true, I wouldn’t have been accepted anywhere at all, but I got into CSULB & SDSU. I could easily Appeal the reason with proof, but I honestly don’t even know if I want to. I just like Fullerton because it’s in OC & not too far from LA. It’s easier to get to the parts of LA that I go than LB oddly enough. That really took me by surprise.
@GoldenCaramel I also got denied and in the same boat. I had a 2.9 GPA but was able to get academic renewal that didn’t get processed until after the Jan 31 deadline. So my GPA is now 3.33. Debating if I should appeal or not. I was able to visit Long Beach 3 weeks ago and very much enjoyed the campus and surrounding area.
There is a comments box at the bottom of the page in the portal and for me it said the college is impacted and I took the majority of my classes outside of Orange County
I also got into LB but didn’t get to visit unfortunately. Do you have any other options? I think LB could be better than CSUF. I used to drive past Fullerton everyday and was stuck on the 57 freeway forever, every time except at night
I submitted an admissions appeal letter when I got denied on March 27th. Today I received an email saying I was accepted! The reason for my rejection was GPA. However, I was able to remove some bad grades with the academic renewal that did not get processed until after the January 31 Deadline. Before my academic renewal, my Cumulative Transfer GPA was 2.88 and after it is 3.33. My major is accounting. Which school do you all think is better for accounting CSUF or CSULB.
