I was accepted into CSULA with my fall grades excluding that I now have 2 A’s, 2 B’s, 1 C-, 1 very low D. On June 29th I have to attend a STEP Orientation I also need to pay $70. Since I messed up my spring semester grades should I just call it off and not go knowing Ill get rejected by the time they receive the last transcript that are due July 15?

I will not graduate with honors/ap, I’m graduating on June 21. I’m a senior in Alg2, wanting to major in Computer Science.

So…should I just not attend orientation cuz ill get rejected a few days later?

Call the admissions office, or have your high school counselor call them on your behalf. Explain that you have a D on one of your senior year spring courses. Depending on the course they will no doubt provide you guidance on how to proceed. The situation is probably not as dire as your post suggests.

Agree with fogcity. Contact the school and see what they say. The grade may not matter, or they may ask you to take a summer makeup class. The worst-case scenario is they rescind you, but even then you’re better off knowing now so you don’t miss the deadlines for applying to a CC and getting in the first pass round of class selection before everything fills up.

Posting here is doing you no good; talking to the admissions office might. If you wait until they get your transcript and review it later in the summer there will be far fewer options in terms of make-up classes (should that be necessary) than there are today.
