Anyone else get the confirmation email today?? Final admissions acceptance no longer conditional or provisional. Finally, that was a suspenseful waiting period lol. Also has anyone done SOAR YET? Curious how it was. @muzzles @ggdcal
@lulu1115 Yes I received the official confirmation stating they accepted my transfer credits and confirmed my admission eligibility. Also @whythefox was correct, for the art program, I was able to lift my holds to register for my classes!
Does anyone have two holds on their account? I have the one for SOAR but then I also have another one that says I need to complete the terms of my admission offer.
I’m not sure what to do. I turned in a certain paper for financial aid a couple weeks ago and I got an email back saying that the information won’t suffice. I was given two options that involve getting help from my tax preparer, but they’re not available until tax season is right around the corner. I’m thinking about sending the paper again while also explaining that they’re not available, but after that I honestly don’t know what to do if they tell me to correct the paper again
@ggdcal how did you get the registration hold lifted? My soar date isn’t until the 22nd of this month I’m worried the classes I want will get full.
My SOAR is on Monday the 22nd. For anyone who has already attended do they give you a CSULB lunchbox and t shirt?

Read the rules first before you apply, I got my hold removed and I registered for classes right away, and also got an email from the art department saying the classes I registered for are perfect for the 1st semester!
@Caligirl2222 Hey there, I just attended SOAR, they do not give you a free lunchbox or t shirt. They give you a black bag which contains a small notebook, agenda, notepad, pen, CSULB ID card, and a visitors guide. You are provided a meal when you get there, choices are vegetables or chicken from El Pollo Loco + free soda or water.
The students and facility members who work at CSULB are all very friendly and helpful honestly, so ask all the questions you need to. Make sure you park in the “G” parking lots and you can either pay online or pay at the pay stations. They are also very punctual, so be on time or early. 12 pm is lunch time, so maybe bring some snacks if you get hungry between 8 am to 12 pm, and maybe water or coffee! They explain a lot of the future events and what services are provided, as well as getting to know one another.
thank you so much
Does anyone know when we have to pay for our classes? Do we pay right away? Or wait for the financial aid to go through and then pay the rest? @ggdcal @Caligirl2222 @imcc98 @rosebud24
@lulu1115 I called the financial aid office because I have the full payment due. But my financial aid is covering the fees and they said I’m good the fees will be distributed before the day the money is due for classes. So just call and ask about it.
i feel like my chances are getting in are slim because of my low gpa
are you applying for spring 2021?
