I’m applying for the same major and my application is still under review… have you heard anything yet?
My daughter received her conditional acceptance last week and accepted it immediately! This is her first choice. She is over the moon excited. So am I.

Hey everyone I got a email back about my status and was wondering if anyone can figure out if its good news or bad news. The status report says this:
We have reviewed your application, and have determined that additional information is needed. If there is a list of items below, please submit the required items by the deadline. If there are no items indicated below, you will be contacted by email to let you know which documents need to be submitted to the university, as well as the deadline for submitting them. Continue to check your email regularly for messages from CSULB and please respond promptly.
I talked to a lady at the admissions office and after I asked her a few questions about what to do, and I sort of asked her to hint at what this email means. She totally stoned walled me and said that shes not allowed to say anything. So i was wondering, has anyone else gotten this type of email? If so, how did it turn out?
Congrats to all who got in! Let me know if you have any questions! I was a transfer from last spring and still have a year to go in Business Finance. There’s a very active subreddit for csulb and it is also one of the best places to ask questions.
Also, CSULB is now the lowest acceptance rate CSU campus even lower that most UC schools like Irvine, so be proud that your in and your degree is already appreciating!

Got Conditionally Accepted, but am nervous because for some dumb reason I decided to take an extra class this semester that is too difficult and that I don’t need. If I have all A’s on my Spring 2020 semester transcript and one W if I drop, do you think my offer will be rescinded? This particular course is not a pre requisite or general education. I am so pissed at myself lol.

I got denied on 2/4/20. They said even though I meet all the requirements for transfer, my GPA isn’t high enough for psychology. I sent an appeal because it didn’t hurt to try, so I’m waiting to hear back about my appeal. I got an email a week ago notifying me that they received my appeal, and will email me once they‘ve made their decision. I’m starting to feel a bit discouraged because I thought I had a pretty decent GPA, but I’ve only gotten accepted into one school so far and rejected from my #1 csu choice which is csulb.

waitlisted for transfer. I applied to CSULB twice as it is my number CSU choice, got denied Spring 2020 but waitlisted for Fall 2020, however, I got into CSUF.

hey for all of the conditional acceptances out there…have you sent transcripts and AP scores? I sent my transcripts on time and they received them but my AP scores are up in the air. I sent them TWO WEEKS AGO and nothing. I’m not blaming CSULB, I think it’s the college board. I’ve called both ends, and college board told me they should receive them by friday the 13th (when it’s due), they made up a long excuse about it and said that each university will take a long time to process it, but they couldn’t even tell me if the scores had reached the college??? not to mentioned that crap was $15?! to send to one school!!!
anyways. i called long beach and explained the situation and they couldn’t have cared less (which is to be expected with such a large population) however, the woman on the phone told me there was nothing she could do to help and that they most likely will withdraw my application
so i’m wondering am i the only one who has gotten screwed over by the college board??? how is it fair that i paid and sent them early and there’s been nothing. can anyone send me advice

@“Mrs.WolfBlood” i also had this issue with the college board since my AP scores were archived. However, when you submit the AP archive score form it’ll send to the schools you choose plus send you a copy at home. I called CSU Long Beach and told them if I could drop off my copy and they said as long as it’s not open they will accept it. I dropped off the copy the college board sent me on Friday and everything is good now. Hope this helps.
Well, I got a copy of my AP Scores, but I opened them so now I’m screwed. I received them and I live close to Long Beach so idk. I hate that there is uncertainty. The only thing I can think of is showing them the opened envelope to show them proof that it has been sent to their school.

thanks for the suggestions guys! i’ve been on the phone between CSULB and the college board and i keep hearing two different things. i told the lady representing the college board how they were supposed to be there by now and that it’s frustrating that i will lose my acceptance bc the college board couldn’t get their sh** together. She told me she’d move my case to “high priority” whatever that means and that I’ll have to check the status multiple times a day each day
the story from long beach is that if they really don’t receive them by friday i will need to APPEAL my own admission. i’ve been very upset about it. i really don’t understand how i could pay a ridiculous amount of money and turn the thing in WAY ON TIME and yet it STILL falls on me. I WILL LITERALLY LOSE MY ADMISSION BECAUSE OF THE COLLEGE BOARD AND THEIR FAILURE TO SEND MY AP TRANSCRIPTS. I’ve spoken with multiple people at LB admissions and they all told me the same thing and they couldn’t really help me. I just have to see if I get an email that says they’re withdrawing my application, which with my luck, i have no doubt i am going to have to write a letter of appeal. if anyone has any other tips and suggestions that would be great!
also, unrelated to transferring, universities are quickly shutting down and i’ve heard that my CC will close down after spring break. I am really wondering how i will be getting o chem, bio, and physics labs done online??? has anyone elses campus shut down?
