When applying for CSUs, they ask if AP college credit has been earned; why must an applicant discern the fact that he can earn AP credit for the fall and spring if AP classes are yearlong courses?

Also, did I earn college credit if I got an A both semesters in an AP class, but failed the AP exam?

Thank you in advance.

If you fail the exam, you don’t get any college credits. You need to look at what the colleges require for credits. Some require a 3, some require higher.

Are they asking you about the AP courses you’re taking this year? …you can only estimate whether you think you’ll be passing this year’s exams. Or, are they asking about credits you already have from previous years?
