CSUs that will accept me with my stats range?

I’m a junior in high school & I live in California. I just want to know where I’m at & everything.
I calculated my PSAT scores & I have a 1230.
my academic/total gpa is 2.92
my 10-12 gpa is 3.0
I didn’t get accepted to any hp or ap classes but I plan on trying to get in some for senior year.
my ECs are:
key club, tobacco peer health educator, leadership, and over 332 hours of community service.
I want to major in Business & Administration-Marketing/management.
I’m gonna bring my grades & test scores up, but let’s say my stats are the worst case scenario, which Csu’s would accept me?

Calculate your EI (CSU GPA x800) + (SAT Math+CR).

I would consider San Marcos, Monterey, Channel Islands, Dominguez Hills, Fresno, San Bernadino, East Bay and your local in-service area Cal State as some possiblities.

A few comments - CSUs use only your EI to rate applicants. ECs aren’t even a minor consideration.

You’ve got one more semester to get your GPA up. A 3.3-3.5 this semester, would drag your CSU GPA you’d into the 3.1-3.2 range. That and a solid SAT will get you into most CSUs. Then focus on your SAT.

Also, as long as you complete your A-G required courses, your Sr schedule doesn’t factor in - unless you get a D/F so, don’t sign up for a really difficult schedule.

Use the time you have to maximize your EI.

Lots of good suggestions above. SDSU and probably Long Beach and Fullertons are probably out of reach. Chico, Sonoma, Sac State and Northridge all have good Business programs and should be within reach.

Good luck

For a California resident frosh applicant, a 3.0 GPA in 10th grade and later a-g courses means admission to a non-impacted major at a non-impacted campus.

Bakersfield, Channel Islands, Dominguez Hills, East Bay, Maritime, and Stanislaus are not campus impacted, although they may have some impacted majors. See http://www.calstate.edu/sas/impactioninfo.shtml for more information about which campuses and majors are impacted.

Your GPA and test scores will be used to calculate your eligibility index which will be used to determine admission to any impacted majors or campuses. Many CSUs also have some preference factors for local area applicants.
