Hello,
I am currently a CSU Sacramento student studying Psychology.
I was recently in a very traumatic auto accident that forced me to withdraw for 2 semesters before I went back thinking my body could handle the daily demands of going to school every day similarly prior to the accident. Unfortunately, my body is still not up to par to endure the demands of school quite yet.
I subsequently moved to Santa Monica City College to continue my education.
Now this is my issue, I was only able to finish 72 units at CSUS and about 15 at SMC. I am trying to get admitted to CSU LongBeach but I have to apply as a transfer according to my SMC counselor but I can’t according to my CSUS counselor. I have a 2.7 at CSUS and a 3.6 at SMC.
What would be the best avenue for me to transfer successfully to CSULB ?
I’ve already had a hell of a time just sending my transcripts from SMC to CSUS so now I’m worried about what I need to do to send my transcripts to CSULB.
Should I just got the normal route an request them from the admissions office or should I get a sealed envelope and then hand it into a transfer adviser next time I go visit the campus?
Should I keep doing more work at SMC? I know I can’t just exclude my CSUS transcripts.
