Im going to the second last CTOPS session - The last one in July, and yesterday I was looking through the course catalog and looking at class sections. I noticed that the first MAIN prerequisite course (BIOC 107) for my major (pre-dental hygiene) is already a third of the way full. Theres obviously only two years to fulfill my preq requirements, and BIOC is a preq for BIOC 108 which is a preq for a 200 level course that I need to take in my second year. So my question is, because the course description said that the course is designed for pre-nursing, pre-dental hygiene, etc. does that mean that all of the pre-… students get priority for the course? and because it is a main preq, would they add more class sections if it was in high demand?

I am also a varsity athlete, and I have a very limited schedule - especially in fall. I have to work around practice times and games which would make evening classes virtually impossible. Do the academic advisors help athletes work around our already set schedule?
