My daugher was waitlisted. Any tips on how to improve her chances? Does anyone have experience from waitlist in past years?

My son applied EA (OS from MN) and received his acceptance notification into Psych program with Chancellor’s Achievement Scholarship on Jan. 10. We are SO incredibly fortunate, as he was also accepted to a few other schools, and Boulder won out! We are incredibly excited.
After posting this, I’m going to confirm my preliminary search that turned up no thread on this site for those admitted/confirmed to CU as Class of 2024. If that’s the case, then I’m going to start one, and hope to hear from those on this thread who intend to attend Boulder this fall.

Just received housing assignment and it is a bum assignment - which stinks as Early Admission, Engineering College acceptance and my EIGHTH choice.
How tough/impossible is this to change?
what is your assignment? IT might not be as “bum” as you think.
