CU Boulder

After doing tons of research and visiting lots of colleges, I decided to look in my own backyard at CU Boulder. I didn’t think I would be very impressed, but was pleasantly surprised. The main attraction to me is that I have guranteed admission, can get in-state tuition (maybe even a full ride through the Boettcher scholarship, if not, I can definitely get merit aid) and a pretty good education, which would save money for grad/law school and beyond. I just wanted to know what you guys think of the school in terms of alumni networking, career placement, etc. My dream would be to earn a stellar gpa and then go on to a top law school. Is this possible if I go to CU? Also, in general, is CU a “good” school?

Thanks.

Consider Colorado College, too.

Colorado College has a cooperative program with Columbia University School of Law under which students, if selected by Colorado College and admitted to Columbia University, may enter an accelerated interdisciplinary legal education program after three years at Colorado College. Upon successful completion of the three-year program at Columbia University, the student will receive the Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado College and the Juris Doctor degree from Columbia University.

I’m thinking the same thing as you are. I’m also from Colorado, and I’ll definitely apply to CU. In-state tuition…

Anyone else?

if you are looking in-state, colorado college is the best school in colorado…

I think supreme court justice Byron White was a Colorado grad…granted that was a long time ago, but it should show you what things are possible.
