Culture on Campus?

I’m just wondering overall how the students at Brown live. Is the school more political or apathetic, and is there a lot of art and music on campus, or do most people entertain themselves off campus?

Music and Theatre are pretty big on campus, and we’re right next to RISD’s Art Museum. I feel there’s quite a bit to do on campus, and there’s Waterfire and the Providence Place Mall within a mile from campus. Some students prefer to go into Boston or NYC by train to entertain themselves, and this possibility exists because of the nearby train station, but I feel these students are the minority.

Faculty members claim students are less politically active than they were years ago, but by my standards, they’re still relatively political. It’s worth noting that I’m pretty apathetic, so my standards are somewhat skewed.

i think a quick YouTube search will provide some interesting insight into the campus life.
