Culture Shock from Going to College?!?!

I think I have culture shock. I’m currently a sophomore and I loved college the first couple of weeks, but I’ve hated it ever since and I don’t really know why. I was just reading an article about studying abroad and it mentioned the common symptoms of culture shock, and I have all of them. So, I did some more research about the symptoms of culture shock, and I had about 95% of the additional symptoms I found listed in multiple articles. Is this weird?? I looked up college giving people culture shock and discovered that it does exist, but I don’t know how to get over it. I’m only one state over so the culture isn’t THAT different, and I’m currently a sophomore so I’d assume I should be over it by now? What should I do?

you may have anxiety, not culture shock. culture shock would be going from a beverly hills
mansion to living in a Brazilian favela. I can not say for sure , but maybe a consultation with your campus Mental health Services could help you sort out what is going on.
