<p>I’m in the process of applying to graduate schools in the biomedical sciences but I’m choosing to take a year or two off to take a few extra courses and do some research. When I do begin to apply to graduate school and submit all my transcripts (undergraduate and “post undergraduate” transcripts) will they consider the transcripts together or separately? Basically, will they use all the courses I took (undergrad and post undergrad) to calculate my cumulative GPA or calculate 2 separate GPA’s (one from undergrad and one from post undergrad)??</p>
<p>The reason I ask this is to consider if this is an option for boosting my GPA for graduate school. Also, I will probably take a mixture of undergraduate and graduate courses depending on the subject.</p>
