Cumulative GPA for transfer admission

I’m currently at a four-year university studying criminal justice. I realized I was no longer studying for what I wanted as a career, so next semester, I’m leaving for a tech school to start the process of getting an associate degree in nursing. Eventually, hopefully sooner rather than later, I’ll want to apply to an ADN-BSN program at a four-year college. The problem is, as my interest in criminal justice lowered, my GPA did as well. Coupled with some personal issues that came up, my GPA from my current school I know would not be near high enough to get into a BSN program later. (The ADN program I’m doing has an older GPA that is higher than my current one, and they don’t need the new one, so that isn’t a problem).
So, assuming I get good grades in my ADN program, will that be the only thing I would need to submit or worry about when applying to ADN-BSN programs, or will they be interested in my un-related previous coursework as well? If they need both GPAs, how much emphasis would they put on the poor one, especially since it has nothing to do with nursing?

You will need to send all of your transcripts.

However, what will matter most will be your newer grades, and the grades in your major. Also, for your career, your work experience will count when you apply to programs that are designed to help you advance professionally. Don’t let a few not so hot grades keep you from pursuing your goals!
