Today was the next round of freshman acceptances from CCNY. My brother got the email this morning.

I just got an email saying they confirmed my application and are reviewing in for Grove (this is for CCNY).
The City College of New York. Your application to this prestigious program is currently being evaluated. You will be notified of our decision within the next three to four weeks.
What a big tease, I was so excited 
@jcandvoidz, my son received the same email this morning…very disappointing! Thought it was an acceptance email. Hopefully, we will both hear from them soon!

Got an email brooklyn college about a freshman reception thing, is anyone going? What’s it about?
My son is still waiting to hear back from John Jay, his portal hasn’t been updated in weeks and when we call it says his application is still under review. He applied in November, has anyone applied around that time and heard back yet?
@MrsTee I suggest emailing admissions@cuny.edu asking if all his documents were recieved. After I emailed them my portal was updated saying a decision has been made by all my colleges.

@MrsTee better yet call them 212-997-2869 press option 2. finally press 2 again to speak to a counselor. that way is quicker than email, which could take some time for them to respond, busy bees that they are. they open at 9 or 10am first thing monday morning.

Update: Called and they said we should hear something back sometime this month. The waiting continues
