@robnjessmom a good guess would be by the end of this month or mid-april…that’s my guess. i sent mine in on dec. 1st and got a decision in mid-february…my estimate is 8-10 weeks so my prediction for you sounds right…keep checking the cuny portal for updates…
I applied out of state on January 8th, a month later I find out they never got my transcripts. I sorted it out med february, and was told my application is under review but I have gotten next to no emails. Should I call? Should I wait??
@CCaffine you can check the cuny portal for your status or you can call the cuny hotline number: 212-997-2869. i find checking the portal is easier since they update that site as things move along…

Just adding here. I got into Brooklyn and Hunter (only two I applied to) and also into Macaulay Honors at Brooklyn. I’m in state. Stats:
SAT: 1470 (750 reading/writing, 720 match)
no ACT
GPA: around 101 cumulative (my school uses a 100 scale)
8 APs (two 3s, one 4, one 5, four to be taken this May)
Hey everyone I have a question. I applied as a transfer to Hunter, Baruch, City, and John Jay (in that order of preference) and after calling the CUNY hotline it says that a decision has been made by only one of the colleges, Hunter College (my first choice), and I should receive a decision within 2 weeks. The thing is the Hunter College link disappeared? All other college choices are there except for the Hunter College link. Does this mean that I was rejected?

My son got accepted into Queens, Hunter & Baruch. He was also invited to apply for Macaulay Honors. He received a letter today indicating he had not been selected for Macaulay. However, they offered him a $3,265 yearly scholarship through the Queens College Scholars program and will also place him on the Macaulay wait list. Any thoughts on QC scholars program? He was also accepted to Adelphi & St. John’s University with great merit scholarships wherein we will be paying approximately $10,000 per year. Any input will be greatly appreciated as we don’t know which to accept.

@jcready it’s a fairly good possibility. keep checking it though…does it say anything once you get there??
@baker101460 it says “Please complete this form to build your customized myBaruch page, exclusively for Baruch College admitted students”. I’m not sure if all applicants have this or just admitted students.
@jcready i would like to know why that portal is accessible to all applicants and not for admitted students only like it says on the website. i mean what the heck is its purpose if you open it up to all students??? it is supposed to be for admitted students only…hmmmmm…
got denied at cuny school of professional studies…am waiting to hear from baruch (i filed an admissions appeal–the lady handling the appeals was impressed with the way i presented myself in the statement) . otherwise i will go to either john jay as a transfer or hunter as a readmit…slightly disappointed, but still hopeful.
I just applied to Cuny, March 17 which is obviously after the priority deadline. Can I still get into Baruch or are all the seats usually filled by this time? thanks in advance

Got a question: how can I view my Baruch financial aid award letter? Logged into myBaruch and don’t know what to do. I swear the design of the webpage is the worst I have ever seen.
And I failed to claim my CUNYFirst account. I checked twice, infos I entered are correct. Just saying, but knowing you already get in is not the hardest thing in this whole CUNY process.
@rammezonne what is on your myBaruch website?? does it say anything? it should have an acceptance letter, etc…
anyway the award letter should also be on cunyfirst.when were you accepted to Baruch if you don’t mind my asking??
and yes, the design is not great. i have a myBaruch account…nothing is there as of yet.
suggest you call the registrar or the help desk with insight on claiming your CUNYFirst account…
I’m going to brooklyn college, I have no idea wat the next steps are! All I did is give in the commitment form and the deposit, and on march 26 I have my math 6 placement exam. When do j create a cunyfirst, blackboard… And whatever other accounts I need? HELP! Pls some one clarify! Thanks!!!
