Anyone know the deadline for fall semester grades to be posted on SIS?

(Note: confused freshman as well)
I have no idea, but I found out four out of five grades when I clicked on my unofficial transcript. Did you try that yet?
Is there anybody who’s more in the know (AKA not a newbie)?

grades are due the 3rd so my guess is that they will be required to appear on SIS by then as well.

click on the unofficial transcript button to view them, and they’ll pop up throughout winter break. Grades sometimes come in late however. The final grades won’t be ready till probably the 2nd week of january.

Been doing that for the past week. Thanks.

Anyone else still missing some grades? I was under the impression that tomorrow (1/8) is the last day that grades will be posted.

Everyone I talked to said that their grades were completely posted by the 3rd.

what’s SIS? are you referring to mid-year grades?

SIS = Student Information Systems, the online service that Tufts uses to allow you to view and order your transcript, look at your grades, sign up for classes, check on your bursar’s account balance, and do other things.

oh okay. never mind then, thanks :]

Does anyone know why we still can’t get to our final grades for this past semester?

You can, just not in that particular screen. Just look at the unofficial transcript.

snuffles et.al., I’ve got a GPA question for you. Have you ever taken a Tufts course for 1/2 credit? If so, has the GPA for that course been spliced in half? For example, if you receive an A in a 1/2-credit course, should the corresponding GPA be a 2.0? That’s what happened and it doesn’t seem right. I understand that it should be given only half as much weight as a full-credit course but should the GPA reflect a 2.0?

Yes, you just get half the quality points. It’s right as it doesn’t lower your overall GPA - don’t be such a worrywart :)

They divide your credits by 0.5 for half credit courses to calculate GPA. So 2/0.5=4

Thanks all. And snuffles, they don’t call me worrywart for nada.
