Current MIT students: How's the groupwork?

I know MIT has a lot of collaboration (it’s one of the things I love about it), and I was just wondering, when undertaking a groupwork project, do you guys joke around and have a laid-back attitude to working, and actually enjoy each others’ company? In short, is there emphasis on the fun part as well as the hard-work part? It’s a pretty important part of group-work, in my opinion
Thanks in advance.

No, we are all mindless work-robots.

But seriously, I think it depends on the individual group dynamic. I’ve definitely worked on projects that were more serious and some that were less serious. Regardless, I don’t think that you’ll find that most people are willing to punt getting their work done in favor of goofing off, but I don’t think that most people are all business all the time either.

Somehow all the pictures have disappeared from this post. Maybe I failed at life and posted them in my now-expired Athena locker?

Anyway, it should be an interesting, relevant read, even without photos. =)

I’d like to thank you both. I know MIT students enjoy their work, but I was just wondering how much.
Laura, may I just say, that that was awesome?
I missed the pictures though, wish I could’ve read this sooner.
I’ve had a couple experiences with my friends that are very similar to the last paragraph of your post. I shall now proceed to write a bit about them in the midyear report.
MIT, how you tease me so.
