I know the option of taking graduate school classes is available to you, but I was wondering how many students actually do it. I visited yesterday, and the tour guide said “around 30%” of his friends did.
I looked around for a stat on the website, but couldn’t find anything. A link would be greatly appreciated. Or even another estimate.

It’s important to realize that some departments have tons of classes that are crosslisted, meaning the class is open to both grad students and undergrads. In the Yale College Programs of Study (<a href=“Majors in Yale College < Yale University)%5B/url%5D”>Majors in Yale College < Yale University), any class marked with a “G” superscript is crosslisted. The computer science math, econ, and stat departments especially have a lot. So if you’re question is, do a lot of students take crosslisted courses, I’d say certainly, at least in those departments. I don’t know as much about graduate classes that aren’t crosslisted, undergrads need special permission to take those

A lot of students in biology end up taking graduate courses like neurobiology, infectious diseases, biology of the immune system etc.
