Im a first year transfer student at Cal Poly Pomona as mechanical engineer. To be honest I chose this major because of a good paying job out of school but I grew up liking computers and it was what i did as a hobby all the time. Now that I’m here I’m not sure if this is the right major. I need the last calculus class and linear algebra and differentials for my General ed and then its nothing but core classes. Im honestly tired of math and I’m currently in statics and from what it seems this major is equation after equation in things Im not too interested in.
Is CSI a good major to go to? Im obviously going to talk to advisor and see what they think but I don’t want to graduate and have a difficult finding a decent paying job. Any ideas are welcome thank you
