Curves for the Following AP Tests

That is awesome for me than.

Does anyone know about Physics B and AP Compsci AB?

I am hoping Physics B has a nice curve, since there is a lot of material my teacher hasn’t covered that I will on my own.

sagar- yeah, same here. I have about 30% of the test left to learn.

The PR book says that the Physics curve works something like this:
5- 75% of the raw points
4- 60%
3- 45%
2- 35%

If someone has a released test to verify this, that would be great.

For AP Bio:

94/150 = 5
73/150 = 4
53/150 = 3

60-70% for a 5 on AP Calc BC is quite is reasonable since most free responses only recieve partial credit… due to a missed step or two or missed notation…
so it compensates…

For AP Statistics(according to the barron’s book):

68 - 100-> 5
53 - 67-> 4
40 - 52-> 3
29 - 39-> 2
0 - 28-> 1

“BC is suppose to be hard, and I think at least 80%.”

yes it’s because the test is hard that the curve is more generous…and that looks about right. I know bio was also pretty easy

Does anyone have the Physics B curve?

My Calc BC teacher was telling us that 50% on multiple choice is only enough for a 3. I guess I’ll call her out on that tomorrow morning. Stats is a pretty generous curve. I did not have enough time to even look at two out of the six free-response questions and I got a 4. (I did answer the the sixth free-response question because it’s weighted more than the rest). Also, this was pretty much a self-taught course because my teacher had no clue what she was doing (got unlucky 2 years ago and was forced to teach the course). She normally teaches Algebra 1 and 2 (non-honors). It was ridiculous watching her read straight out of the textbook, so I just read AP US Hist during her class and read the Stats book at home.

el bumpo.

stupid character limit

I know the chances of anybody knowing the AP Music theory curve is low, but does anybody? My teacher wont really tell us…

Spanish Language Curve? Anyone?

still no answer for euro!!! please someone, help :eek:~!

“My Calc BC teacher was telling us that 50% on multiple choice is only enough for a 3.”

Uhh… More like 80% on MC, cuz most people get stuff wrong on the FR. In BC, the FR is the hard part because you cant work your way through in questions you are only 50% sure about, like history and bio. It’s either you know it or you dont. If you dont, ZERO.

anyone know how to calculate your grade in ap physics? how much are MC worth? free response?

Euro is going to eat my face, well it was nice knowing you guys. Even if I didn’t know you apart from CC.

According to my Physics teacher, a score of 5 on the Physics C Mechanics exam is:

MC x (45/35) + FR = 54

Hope this helps. :D

P.S.- Anyone know the spanish curve?

This is the Physics B curve according to my physics teacher…

1 = 0-37
2 = 38-53
3 = 54-85
4 = 86-114
5 = 114-180

(Raw MC (0-70) x 1.286) + Free Response = 0-180 scale

Does anyone have the curves for:
Microecon
Psychology
Chemistry (i know this one’s on an easy curve)
APUSH – (teacher says 60% MC will barely get a 3…and I doubt that)

Thanks!

Anyone with:

Euro
Psych
Env Science
Comparative Gov
US Gov Curves?

i wish the AP euro curve was
1= 0
2= 0
3= 0
4= 0-1
5= 1-Max

then i might be able to pull off a 4!!! yessiree
sigh
im going to DIE on friday!! whos with me??? lets partay
