The publishing company of my orgo textbook is doing this evil thing where it bundles the regular orgo textbook with a “custom” student solution manual and another orgo guide book. I bought the textbook separately from Amazon, but I can’t get the solution manual. (The bookstore ran out of used copies, and the publisher just isn’t willing to sell the custom book by itself.) In your experience, how different are these custom student solution manuals from the regular ones? In this case, the regular one has solutions to all the problems. I’m guessing that the custom one might just have odds or evens, which doesn’t really make sense, since my professor assigns us all the problems at the end of the chapter for practice and makes up his own problems for graded homework.
