Hello, the interview was much easier than expected. 2 rounds, on Zoom. The 1st round was with a physician and an undergrad dean, with questions about interest and why medicine. The 2nd round was in a group. The whole group got a problem they needed to solve and they were observed doing that. If you have specific questions, feel free to ask!
What kind of problem did the group have to solve? Was it related to medical ethics or was it something completely random to test problem solving? Thanks!
Completely random. For instance: we have a school where students are underperforming, how should we address that with little left in the budget. Then given some details. So my understanding is that the goal was not to see the solution to the problem, the real goal was to observe the students actually working together as a team, collaborating and communicating. Were they sitting quietly or being active? Were they being respectful of others while actively participating or just disregarding others and jumping in?
