Well I ordered a few things first thing this morning.
A couple spots I wish I would have checked Black Friday because they aren’t offering discounts today (Zara).
Good purchases at GAP and JCrew Factory where I could layer codes and use some rewards $$$.
Haven’t checked Amazon yet for some things I need.
Also appreciating the largely higher Rakuten rebates!
I noticed that nearly all the stores I was shopping, extended their “Black Friday” prices through the weekend. I’ve noticed that most places have so many sales through the holiday season that for the type of things I’m buying, Black Friday often doesn’t have better pricing. In the past though, Athleta was not one of those places -in the last, if I missed the sale, it didn’t happen again. But they extended their 20% off through yesterday. And now of course, Cyber Monday is also 20% off. Pretty much every other store I’ve shopped from so far has the same exact prices today. Seems the only benefit to buying on Friday is to insure what you want isn’t sold out by Monday.
Of course the only thing I really want to go on sale has not and presumably will not (a pair of boots for Dh).
What is Rakuten? I need to go google that.
Rakuten is the old Ebates. Awful name in my opinion!
You can download a Rakuten button and whenever you go to a retail page a banner will pop up in the top right of your page showing if that website has a % off from Rakuten.

Lots of stores are 10-20% cash back today (you get the option of receiving a hard copy rebate check (twice a year?) or I think a Paypal or Amazon credit (don’t quote me I don’t fully remember!

Rakuten has been around for a while. A Japanese retailer turned shopping tech by buying up others.
