Czech

I noticed on the course catalog that we can take Czech 101A-C to fulfill the language requirement, but I’ve looked this quarter and next quarter and I haven’t seen any of them offered, only the upper div. Did they stop teaching the lower div? Any insight would be appreciated!

Czech 101A was last offered in Fall 2009 and before that in Fall 2007. It looks like they changed the numbering system before that, so it’s only been offered twice. Before that there was a longer 102 series that probably included all of those classes.

They don’t offer any lower division classes…

It’s actually offered this summer (2011). I’ve seen it on the summer session schedule. It’s likely to be offered again next summer I suppose.

I would be careful because it doesn’t actually say that Czech 104 satisfies the requirement. See a counselor to make sure.
