<p>Do Division 3 baseball coaches continue recruiting through the winter? If so, how does that work if the school’s application deadline is, let’s say, Jan. 15th?</p>
<p>I’ll assume your referencing 2011s. In my experience yes. They will continue to recruit through the RD application deadline. I’ve even heard of some cases where D1 and D3 student/athlete has applied and been accepted past the RD deadline. It happens.</p>
<p>From the coaches perspective, baseball doesn’t start until the following Fall. The coach will want to know if someone transferred. The coach may have 40, 50, 60 or people trying out for 35 roster positions. He’ll definitely want to know who applied, accepted, enrolled, and is trying out for D3 because very little of it is under his control.</p>
