<p>Hello I have just finished all four years of high school. My cum. weighted GPA is 3.1091 and I have only received one D+ ever. It was in my Expository Reading and Writing class second semester of senior year. I have been admitted and planned to go to CSU Sacramento and I am scared of a rescind. I have been in a lot of extra curricular activities (mostly Band and Guard), and also have about 130.75 hours of community service my SAT score was if I remember about a 1400. My grades have been constant A’s, B’s, and C’s but never a D. I have done summer school for the one D I got in Chem but it was revised to a B. </p>
<p>What should I do? I am freaking out!</p>
<p>I am in a similar situation. I went to an admission office and explained about my situation.
They said if you have overall 3.0 or more even though you don’t have grade C or better in every class, it would be fine. However they suggest to talk with my admission officer. The result of violating the conditions of admission will be different to each individual. I am sure you have your own admission officer too. You should talk to the person. </p>
<p>Some cases, this issue would be okay by talking to the admission officer. However, some might be led to write an appeal letter before their school cancels the offer. You should be persuasive and reasonable. Give enough reasons why you got D+ in the course. If you have a lot of classes for one semester as well as extracurriculums, you might have a good reason how the extracurriculum has affected your grade in the particular class. They usually take a consider, but it wouldn’t be sure.</p>
<p>Thank you for the well though out reply. It’s good to know there are others with my situation (and unfortunate also). I most defiantly am trying to get a hold of the officer, but it probably won’t be till next week. Other post I’ve researched and found said that it shouldn’t be to big of a problem, but it feels like I’m in limbo. The teacher was incredibly unfair and my english grades from the past have been A’s and B’s and all of a sudden I get a D+.</p>

<p>Yea it was a typo I should have rephrased that better. I mean that the grades they look at won’t be that one other D because it was revised to a B thanks to summer school.</p>
