D my first senior semester in AP Government

So I got a D in a 1 semester course of AP government, and I know I’ll need to repeat the course. My second semester I am free because I enrolled at CSUB at the enterprise college and passed. So would taking a regular government class during the second semester before I graduate, count as a repeat for the AP Government D?

Sorry, but that is really bad. Not a single person in my class had less than an A in the first semester.

Lol it depends on the school tho…

Is your school hard?

@orioles21 im sorry but that’s extremely rude… Sure, he/she did poorly in a class, and he/she knows it, no need to make yourself feel better by commenting on someone else’s failure, if he wanted your opinion he would’ve asked, however he is asking for help, attempting to fix the problem, which i myself have had to do. to answer your question, I don’t think so, AP=/=Reg, ap can replace reg tho, not the other way around, just email your school of choice explaining whatever happened

American Government is a required a-g course for the UC’s and Cal States, so you need a passing grade. You can take a regular Government class to fulfill the a-g course requirement, but since it is not an AP class, I do not think I will replace the D. I would check with your GC to confirm. The following link is the CSU/UC course matrix and explanation of the D/F grade validation. I see no particulars that address your situation other than a passing on the AP exam would validate the D grade.
