What are some D1 women’s swimming programs that are not top flight D1 swim programs, but have a strong academic reputation. Junior National times, 1360/1600 SAT, 3.65 GPA. Want a D1 program, but not super competitive as wanting to focus on academics.

Take a look at the Patriot League schools: Bucknell, Lehigh, Lafayette, Colgate, American, Holy Cross. All quite strong academically but time-wise not on par with either the Ivies or your big state schools. They stress that although they are D1, academics still come first. Most highly ranked either as national universities or LACs.

also look at Vanderbilt and Notre Dame

ASU and Barrett Honors College - good coach and up and coming program

If you have juniors, definitely check out Northwestern and Duke. A tiny bit slower could be a school like Rice, and then a slower program at another good school is Georgetown. Someone already mentioned Notre Dame which is about on par with the NU/Duke. Ivies are always a good choice, Harvard is typically the fastest in the Ivy League but Princeton is a close second followed by Yale and Columbia.
