If my GPA is above a 3.0 and my SATs score are just under a 500 for critical reading and math, what are my chances of getting into a school like William Paterson or Rowan(D3 Swimming)?
My times are pretty decent “Short Course Yards”,
50 free- 23.10
100 free- 51.55
100 back- 1:00.55
100 fly- 1:00.33
100 breast- 1:07.69
200 I.M.- 2:13.54
I’m a junior in high school and it’s only my second year swimming on a club team and each year so far I’ve dropped 10% and I’m expected to drop more next year, even if I’m just shy of the required SAT scores, will being recruited help me get into either school?
Fill out the swim recruitment forms on line and send an email to the coach with some background information (such as the paragraph above) about yourself and see if you get a response back indicating interest. You have nothing to lose, so go for it.
